Ranger honored by McDonalds, ready for next level

Standout Carpinteria High School basketball star Jacob Ranger was honored yesterday at McDonalds on Casitas Pass Road for his nomination to the 2008 McDonald's All American High School Boys Basketball Team.
Ranger, who averaged 25 points, 11 rebounds and four assists per game during the regular season, is the first Carpinteria High boy’s basketball player to receive the All American nod in the school’s history, and according to head coach John Ward, he’s the perfect candidate.
