Stabbing victim runs to hotel lobby

Santa Barbara police responded to the Brisas Del Mar Inn at the Beach on Tuesday night, where a male stabbing victim made his way off of the streets and into the inn’s lobby.
A police spokesman said he knew little about the stabbing, which occurred just before 10 p.m. According to police radio transmissions, the victim was stabbed at a location near the inn and almost lost consciousness when he arrived in the lobby, which is located at 223 Castillo St.
A nursing supervisor at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital said the victim was going into surgery just before 11 p.m.
