Santa Barbara Police arrested a 25-year-old man who not once, but twice allegedly peeped through the window of a home in the 500 block of Coronel Pl. on Sunday night.
The first incident was reported just after 10:30 p.m., when a man who was with his girlfriend in the bedroom of his apartment, heard noise coming from outside the window.

Sgt. Lorenzo Duarte, a police spokesman, said the man saw a Hispanic male, later identified as Miguel Salazar Hernandez, looking through the bedroom window.
“The reporting party could see that Hernandez’s zipper was unzipped and his belt was unbuckled,” Duarte said.
By the time the man made it outside, Duarte said the suspect was gone.
Police responded to the area and conducted a search, but did not locate Hernandez, he said.
An hour later, the same reporting party notified police that he had detained Hernandez and was awaiting police arrival.
“The reporting party told police that he again heard noise outside his bedroom window…” Duarte said. “He looked out the window and saw that Hernandez had returned. Hernandez’s zipper and buckle were again unfastened.”
At that point, Duarte said the man ran outside and detained Hernandez, who was arrested on suspicion of peeping and an outstanding warrant for being intoxicated in public.

On Monday, police arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly engaging in lewd acts on the Junipero Street footbridge.
Police were called at 3:30 p.m. and arrived on the scene to find Daniel Anthony Lopez in the process of committing a lewd act, Duarte said.
“The investigation revealed that Lopez had been seen on the footbridge loitering and acting strangely,” he said. “Lopez was observed looking around and then [he began] to engage in a lewd act by himself.”
Duarte said Lopez was arrested for allegedly committing lewd acts in public.
